Lower Eyelid Surgery
(Blepharoplasty)

A subtle procedure to reduce under-eye bags and restore a smoother, more rested appearance — while maintaining a natural look.

Concerned about looking hollow or “overdone”? The focus is always on balanced, natural-looking results where volume is preserved.

What does lower eyelid surgery involve?

Lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is designed to improve under-eye bags and puffiness by carefully repositioning or removing excess fatty tissue beneath the eyes.

The aim is not to drastically change your appearance, but to restore a smoother, more refreshed contour while maintaining your natural eye shape.

A natural approach to eyelid surgery

One of the biggest concerns patients have about lower eyelid surgery is looking hollow, tight, or obviously operated on.

My approach focuses on preserving natural eyelid support and maintaining a smooth transition between the eyelid and cheek. The goal is a subtle improvement that leaves you looking fresher and less tired, not different.

What to expect after surgery

Swelling and bruising are common during the first 1-2 weeks after surgery, with gradual improvement over the following weeks.

Most patients begin to look noticeably fresher once the swelling settles, with results continuing to refine over several months.

Surgery is typically performed as a day case, allowing you to return home the same day.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Will I look hollow after surgery?

A natural approach avoids excessive tissue removal and focuses on maintaining balanced under-eye contours.

+ Will there be visible scars?

Depending on the approach needed, the incisions are either hidden inside the eyelid, or carefully placed and typically heal extremely well.

+ How long does recovery take?

Most swelling and bruising improves significantly within 1-2 weeks, though subtle healing continues for several months.

+ How long do results last?

Results are long-lasting, although natural ageing continues over time.

+ Am I suitable for lower eyelid surgery?

Suitability depends on your anatomy, skin quality, and concerns, which are assessed during consultation.

Every patient is different - a consultation allows us to assess your concerns and recommend the most appropriate approach for you.
